The Australian Poker Tour (APT) will host a series of satellites into October’s Victorian Poker Championship (VPC) at Crown when it returns to Melbourne next week for the APT Satellite Showdown.
This follows the recent announcement that the APT is Official Satellite Partner for the Victorian Poker Championship and will guarantee more than 50 VPC Main Event seats in the months ahead.
At least 30 of those seats will be given away at the APT Satellite Showdown, running from 7 to 19 July at Crowne Plaza Melbourne Carlton. The schedule boasts 11 standalone events with series guarantees of $300,000, plus nine standalone satellites into the VPC – each guaranteeing either two, three or five VPC Main Event seats.
The 2026 VPC will run from 12 to 27 October at Crown Melbourne and feature an expanded schedule of 21 events. The series will also see Joe Hachem and Van Marcus return as ambassadors.
