The 2026 Victorian Poker Championship will feature an expanded schedule of 21 events, including a $2,500 buy-in Main Event and two High Roller tournaments priced at $5K and $10K, according to information provided to PokerMedia Australia.
The series will also see Joe Hachem and Van Marcus return as ambassadors, while the Australian Poker Tour has partnered with Crown Melbourne as official satellite partner.
Running from 12 to 27 October, the Victorian Poker Championship will be headlined by the $2,500 Main Event, featuring four Day 1 flights.
The schedule also showcases a wide range of popular and diverse formats, including the Mystery Bounty, H.O.R.S.E, 8-Game, 2-7 Triple Draw and PLO Hi-Lo, complemented by two dedicated Pot Limit Omaha events – a $5K event and a special marquee event.
Crown Poker said it would also continue its partnership with the Australian Poker Tour as an official satellite partner in the wake of the recent Aussie Millions Poker Championship. As part of the collaboration, the APT will guarantee more than 50 Main Event seats into the Victorian Poker Championship through a series of qualifying events to be held in Melbourne over the coming months.
Crown Melbourne’s own satellite program will begin on 5 July with a $360 buy-in 10-seat GTD event.
