The wait is over. More than six long years since Vincent Wan took down the 2020 Aussie Millions Main Event, Australia’s most prestigious tournament series is back with the Opening Event set to kick off at Crown Melbourne from 12:10pm.
The 2026 Aussie Millions Poker Championship boasts an 18-event schedule across 17 days from 24 April to 10 May, culminating with the $10,600 Main Event from 4 to 10 May.
Aside from the $1,500 Opening Event with its guaranteed $1 million prize pool, other standout events include the $5K 6-max from Monday 27 April, the $1,500 Mystery Bounty from Tuesday 28 April and the $25K Challenge, which kicks off on Sunday 3 May.
As previously reported by PokerMedia Australia, the 2026 Aussie Millions features three core ambassadors including defending WSOP Main Event Champion Michael Mizrachi, Australia’s 2005 WSOP champ Joe Hachem and another Australian Poker Hall of Fame inductee in Van Marcus.
There will also be plenty of celebrity additions to the field – none bigger than NBA star Josh Giddey who confirmed his attendance earlier this week.
Stay tuned to PMA in the coming weeks for extensive coverage of the Aussie Millions, player interviews and some big announcements to come!
