Do I need to be a Crown member to play in any poker tournaments at the Aussie Millions?
Yes, you will need a valid Crown Player or Crown Rewards card to take part in any tournaments or cash games during the Aussie Millions.

How do I sign-up and what do I need?
Sign-up, as well as tournament registration, is to be completed at a Crown Rewards Desk, one of which will be located near the Crown Poker room during the Aussie Millions festival. You will need a valid government-issued photo ID to sign-up. Once sign-up is complete, you will also need a payment method to buy-in to tournaments or cash games: cash, approved account or approved fund transfer.

What is Crown PlaySafe and what does it mean for me?
Crown PlaySafe is Crown Resorts’ responsible gambling and harm-prevention program. It forms part of the mandatory responsible gambling controls Crown is required to enforce by regulators, including the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) in Melbourne.

Under the Crown PlaySafe program, casino players are required to set mandatory time and spend limits, and are subject to restrictions that include a maximum of 12 hours of play per day and 36 hours per week.

The Aussie Millions and other poker tournament series at Crown Melbourne have certain exemptions in place around some of these restrictions, including the “12-hour rule”, however it is worth keeping in mind that engaging in other gambling pursuits during your time at Crown may impact your ability to play Aussie Millions events should you otherwise exceed your limits.

Can I open an account with Crown?
Provided you are 18 years or above and not excluded from Crown, you can open a gaming account by visiting a Crown Rewards desk. You will need a valid government‑issued photo ID, proof of address if you reside overseas as well as documents required under Australia’s anti-money laundering and counter terrorism financing legislation. This may include documents related to source of income.

The opening of any account with Crown is subject to verification processes and regulatory requirements.

How do deposit or transfer funds into my account?
You can deposit funds via on‑site cash deposits, domestic or international bank transfer or other approved electronic transfer methods. Note that processing times can vary depending on the method and verification requirements.

All bank transfers must be sent from a personal bank account in your own name and in AUD only. Crown does not accept Revolut or Wise for payments.

How do I buy into a tournament?
You can buy in directly at the Crown Poker Desk, or by using cash or gaming chips purchased from the cage. You will receive an entry ticket or tournament receipt once the buy‑in is processed. Note that the Crown Poker room has both a Crown Rewards booths and a casino cage to handle transactions.

I hear Crown has a 12-hour daily gambling limit. Does this apply to the Aussie Millions?
No, the 12-hour limit does not apply to play in any Aussie Millions events or satellites.

Will playing other casino games affect my ability to play in the Aussie Millions?
Yes, it can. If unsure, please speak to Crown floor staff for more information and to clarify how playing other games could impact your poker play.

If I make the money, how do I cash-out and how do I receive my funds?
Gaming winnings can be collected by exchanging your chips at the Crown cashier. Payout options may include cash, cheque or electronic funds transfer (EFT), depending on the amount. For larger winnings, identification may be required and funds can be arranged via secure payment methods if preferred.
