The Australian Poker Tour will run regular satellites to this year’s Aussie Millions at the upcoming APT Melbourne Champs as part of a new partnership with Crown Poker.
The Aussie Millions – long considered the biggest annual poker series on our shores and one of the most prestigious titles on the global scene – returns to Crown Melbourne in late April for the first time in more than six years. It will feature a total of 18 bracelet events with buy-ins ranging from $1,500 up to $25,000, headlined by the $10,600 Main Event.
As part of its partnership with Crown, the APT will stage multiple direct-entry satellites from 22 February to 8 March 2026 at Oakwood Premier Melbourne in Southbank, including a series of satellites in the days leading up to the APT Melbourne Champs festival kick-off on 27 February.
There will also be a massive Aussie Millions satellite on Saturday 28 February where the APT is guaranteeing three seats into the Aussie Millions Main Event – each valued at $10,600.
“We at the Australian Poker Tour are thrilled to partner with the prestigious Aussie Millions Poker Championship held at Crown Melbourne,” said APT owner Tony Hachem.
“This collaboration marks a significant milestone for us, as we will be running several satellite events through our APT series in 2026 and 2027. We are excited to offer our players the opportunity to compete in one of the most renowned poker tournaments in the world, and we can’t wait to see the incredible talent that emerges from our series.”
The APT also released its full schedule for the APT Melbourne Champs over the weekend, featuring 16 events with buy-ins from $350 to $2,500 plus a range of satellites into events like The Grind, The Goliath and the Main Event.
