WSOP releases full 2024 schedule

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) has released its full 2024 schedule, with the annual summer series set to offer a whopping 99 bracelet events across more than seven weeks of action at Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas.

Coming off a memorable 2023 which included a record-breaking Main Event that topped 10,000 entries for the very first time, this year’s series will kick-off with a new addition to the schedule: the $5,000 Champions Reunion No-Limit Hold’em Freezeout. This unique format will provide an innovative twist with anyone who eliminates a former WSOP Main Event champion receiving entry into the 2024 Main Event as a bounty.

More than a dozen new events appear on this year’s schedule, including a new Five Card PLO HI-LO 8 or Better World Championship and an 8-Game Mixed 6-handed Championship – both featuring US$10,000 buy-ins.

The Main Event will kick-off on 3 July, featuring four starting flights through 6 July, with the final table scheduled for 16-17 July.

The WSOP has also revealed it will add an additional 100 tables in 2024, taking the total table count to almost 700 tables.

“We’re proud to be Las Vegas’s original Main Event,” said Ty Stewart, SVP & Executive Director of the WSOP. “Records are made to be broken, so our motto this year is bigger and better.

“With our best schedule ever and more than 100 additional poker tables, we look forward to welcoming legends, first-timers and everyone in between. If you’re a poker player, there is simply no experience on earth like the World Series of Poker.”
