All in the family: Tanya Sue wins WPT Australia Ladies Championship

A unique and historic mother-and-son quinella has been completed, with Tanya Sue taking down the WPT Australia Ladies Championship yesterday at The Star Gold Coast.

Heads-up against Yuen Ching “Flora” Pun, it was an internationally-flavoured battle between New Zealand and Hong Kong, with the Kiwi prevailing to win a top prize of $16,320 and a $6,000 WPT Ladies World Championship Passport.

The result will see both her and her son – Opening Event champion JP Rounce-Sue – both head to the WPT World Championship in Las Vegas later this year.
