Chris Edgar leads into final day of Stacked Adelaide Poker Festival Main Event

Chris Edgar

Chris Edgar is now in prime position for his second Stacked Poker tournament trophy after taking pole position over the final nine for this year’s Stacked Adelaide Poker Festival Main Event.

Edgar – whose previous best at Stacked was victory in the $360 buy-in Mystery Bounty tournament earlier this year – burst the bubble after a lengthy hand-for-hand period late into Day 2, eliminating Joshua Crowe in 23rd place after waking up with pocket Aces against Crowe’s A3.

Edgar then found himself on the right end of a double KO, taking out both Huey Lam and Ryan White before ending the night with 1,840,000 in chips, edging out Nick Borrillo for the overall chip lead, who bagged up 1.81 million.

Higor Seibel, Tam Truong, Aditya Rao and Hai Nguyen all sit in the middle of the pack with around 30 BBs each, while Jun Lin Huang, Gareth Edmonds and Chris Parker will each return this afternoon as the bottom three stacks.
