A star-studded field is on its way to Adelaide later this month for the latest rendition of the Stacked Poker Championship – a series of 10 events over 13 days taking place from 25 January to 6 February at North Adelaide’s Stacked Social.
With the Stacked Poker Championship quickly becoming one of the premier poker series in Australia – renowned for its player-friendly structures, deep prize pools and unmatched hospitality – this year’s series will feature a who’s who of the Aussie poker scene, led by 2005 World Series of Poker Champion Joe Hachem.
The local poker icon will be joined by fellow Australian Poker Hall of Famers Jeff Lisandro, Gary Benson and Billy “The Croc” Argyros, plus 2019 WSOP Player of the Year Robert Campbell, with the quintet boasting 10 WSOP bracelets between them.

The 2023 Stacked Poker Championship will kick off on Wednesday 25 January with a brand-new addition to the schedule: the $660 Accumulator Mystery Bounty featuring three Day 1 flights. The hugely popular PLO5 is back, while a new Super High Roller with a $4,000 buy-in will take place over two days from Thursday 2 February.
The $2,200 Main Event gets underway on Friday 3 February and hopes are high it will exceed the record 181 entries achieved in last year’s event, won by none other than Joe Sandaev.
The full series schedule is below.
“We have seen the series evolve and grow since its inception and I’m anticipating a prize-pool in excess of $750,000, which will be the largest ever prize-pool of any poker series in South Australia,” says Stacked Social Managing Director, Andrew Michael.
“Visiting players can expect an unparalleled poker experience and will be treated to warm and friendly hospitality.”
Those travelling from interstate can take advantage of Stacked’s partnership with nearby Majestic M Suites. Use the promo code CAMP-Stackedpoker when booking to instantly receive 20% off.
