Boutique Adelaide poker room Stacked Social will host its latest tournament series, DeepStacks Adelaide, at the end of the month with a number of innovative new additions highlighting the six-event schedule.
Riding on the back of the hugely successful Stacked Poker Championship in February, which saw more than $500,000 in prize money generated, Deepstacks Adelaide kicks off with Stacked’s first ever Mystery Bounty event, featuring a $1,000 buy-in and three Day 1 flights from Friday 30 September.
It will also boast a unique $777 buy-in seven-handed event called “Lucky 7s” and the return of the hugely popular PLO5 which was a player favourite back in February.
Buy-ins start from just $250 for the NLH Turbo Closing Event on 10 October and range up to the $1,600 Main Event running from 7 to 10 October.

“The demand for us to host a second annual event has been overwhelming and rather than simply repeating the same event again, we wanted to give this series an identity of its own,” explains Stacked Social’s General Manager, Andrew Michael. “That’s when Deepstacks Adelaide was born.
“After my recent trip to the US for the WSOP, I recognised that the game of poker is evolving and new and innovative events are the future for the sport.
“The Mystery Bounty events across Vegas were the big hit of the year, drawing huge fields and awarding massive prizes, so we’ve created our own Mystery Bounty to open our series.
“The other event that sparked my interest was the Lucky 7s tournament – our version priced at $777 will be played seven handed and see players start with an enormous stack of 77,700.
“But we’re most excited about our $1,600 main event which is likely to draw players from around the country due to its generous structure and the opportunity for a huge pay day for the winner.”

Adelaide’s poker scene has earned a well-deserved reputation in recent years as being among the most vibrant in the country, with unparalleled cooperation between all of the key operators making for some truly unmissable events.
Stacked Social is no exception, offering players top notch hospitality and a perfect location in North Adelaide.
“I know many players from interstate can be hesitant to come visit and play poker in Adelaide, but the ones that do nearly always return,” Michael says.
“Adelaide is a beautiful city and boasts what is possibly the world’s very best wine region. Our poker and cocktail lounge is located just a couple of minutes outside of the city centre in North Adelaide and is truly unlike any other venue in Australia.
“Visiting players can expect an unparalleled poker experience and will be treated to warm and friendly hospitality. We have also partnered with Majestic M Suites to offer guests discounted accommodation throughout the series.”
