
Eric Xu and Visal Kim have emerged as Day 1C and Day 1C chip leaders respectively after a marathon session at the Pavilion Poker Room yesterday.
Xu quietly went about his business to end Day 1C with 769,000 in chips, followed by WPTDeepStacks Sydney $660 Big Bounty runner-up Glenn Marsom who bagged 512,000. Two-time QPC Queensland Main Event winner Shaun Zammit also made it into the top five, alongside Steve Tupua and Robert Kwan.

And amidst a frenetic final stanza in Day 1D, Visal Kim found himself on the right end of a big three-way all-in pot to end up with 527,000 in chips, edging out Marco Perri who bagged 510,000. Peter Kassiotes, Madi Kishore and Frank Mezzasalma also topped the counts at the conclusion of the night session.
