
Chad Inabinet and Van Le have put on a powerhouse display of poker to finish Day 2 of the WPT Sydney QPC Main Event with more than 55% of the chips in play between them.
Inabinet – whose biggest tournament result was a fourth-place finish in an NPL event in Sydney’s south-west four years ago, according to The Hendon Mob – ended Day 2 with 8,975,000 in chips to out a slender margin over Le, who bagged up almost 8,275,000.
In third chip position is Peter Kassiotes with 3,800,000, followed by Adrian Pacheco, Mai Nguyen, Robert Kwan and Day 1C chip leader Eric Xu, with Slav Rypinski bringing up the rear with a stack worth six bigs.
The QPC Sydney Main Event final nine will return to the Pavilion Poker Room tomorrow (2 May) from 6pm AEST to battle it out for a top prize of $80,000 and the coveted championship gold ring.
