
Rehman Kassam has added another major trophy to the Poker Palace cabinet, taking down the Star Gold Coast Champs $550 Big Bounty Shot Clock.
The Sydneysider – who flew in late last night with best mate and WPTDeepStacks Gold Coast Main Event Champion Will Davies – eliminated five out of the final nine players at the final table en route to his first major title since winning the Poker Palace Summer Championships Warm-Up Event last year.
Kassam topped a field of 179 entries, defeating Paul O’Brien heads-up for the top prize of $11,590, while Mike Maddocks, Simon Pedler, Robert Damelian, Ricky Kroesen and Antoine Follet were amongst those to have registered ITM results.
