Tin Win prevails in Adelaide Poker Championship’s Accumulator event

Local regular Tin Win has enjoyed the perfect start to the Stacked Poker Championship after dominating the final table to win the $350 NLH Accumulator.

Overcoming a field of 117 players, including 19 who returned on Day 2, Tin’s day began in style when he was on the right side of a three-way all-in holding Aces and although he entered the final table sitting third in chips, it didn’t take long before he emerged as chip leader.

The key hand came with eight players remaining when he again picked up the pocket rockets and saw both Daniel Flynn with 1010 and Shane Webb with KK shove into him. His hand held and he never looked back, soaring to around 1.5 million with four players remaining and with none of his opponents anywhere near the 1 million chip mark.

In the end, an ICM deal with heads-up opponent and Stacked Social’s Managing Director Andrew Michael was done and Tin declared the winner – taking home a $10,000 first prize, a fine bottle of 15-year-old Glenlivet and a Stacked Poker hat for good measure.

The opening Accumulator event saw a very healthy 117 entries but numbers looks set to grow over the next week with the easing of Adelaide’s COVID-19 health restrictions this week meaning maximum capacity has now doubled.

PokerMedia Australia will be providing full live reporting coverage of the entire Stacked Poker Championship series, with the $550 NLH Monster Stack next on the agenda from 6pm Monday local time (6.30pm AEDT).
