PokerMedia Australia is pleased to announce that it will provide full live reporting coverage of the upcoming Treasury Brisbane Poker Festival Main Event, to be held at Treasury Brisbane from 4 to 7 February 2022.
The appointment of PMA as live reporting partner of the Main Event represents another step forward in the company’s rapidly expanding collaboration with Star Poker, having also covered the WPTDeepStacks Gold Coast Main Event last May and Star Poker Gold Coast Summer Series Main Event in December – both held at The Star Gold Coast.
The Treasury Brisbane Poker Festival carries the momentum built up at Treasury’s sister property with a full nine-event schedule kicking off this Friday 28 January 2022.
Buy-ins range from as little as $220 up to $1,500, while the Main Event features an $1,100 buy-in and Multiple Re-entry format. Satellites into the Main Event are currently running most days with a $130 buy-in.
The recent Star Poker Gold Coast Summer Series Main Event, boasting a similar format to the upcoming Treasury Brisbane event, attracted 475 entries with former WSOP November Niner Alex Lynskey topping the field to take home a cool $94,046.
