The 2019 Aussie Millions is on track to become the biggest Aussie Millions ever.
According to a media release from Crown Resorts, confirmed registration numbers for the Main Event are currently running 30% higher than the same time last year. The 2018 Aussie Millions – won by England’s Toby Lewis – set a new attendance record with 800 buy-ins.
If current registrations continue, buy-ins for the 2019 Main Event could top 1,000 for the very first time.
The 2019 Aussie Millions will comprise a total of 27 official events with the Main Event kicking off on Sunday 27 January.
Last year’s winner Lewis took home a first prize of $1.8 million.
