The Hachem Management Group, in conjunction with ‘All In’ for Charity, will host the most glamorous poker tournament in their series to date. Poker with the Stars will be held on Monday December 12 at the iconic Melbourne Town Hall, raising the bar with more sports stars, more media personalities and more excitement expected.

The black tie event will support the Australian Childhood Foundation, an organisation dedicated to ensuring all children are safe from the trauma of abuse, violence and neglect. Child abuse and neglect is one of Australia’s darkest social stories. The most recent figures from the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare tell us that in 2013 – 2014 there were 304,097 new reports of abuse and neglect across Australia, which equates to one report every two minutes.
Some of the celebrities expected at the event include Shane Warne, Joe Hachem, Brendon and Alex Fevola, Rhys Muldoon, Wayne Carey, Marc Murphy, Luke Hodge, Lydia Schiavello, Anthony Koutoufides, Sam Grecco, Robert DiPierdomenico, Brian Taylor, Danny Frawley, Trevor Marmalade, Campbell Brown and many more. Several of the actors from popular television series Neighbours, Home & Away, Underbelly, House Husbands and the Block are also expected to make an appearance.

The event will be hosted by Poker Media Australia friend and renowned poker player and socialite Tony Hachem. He’s upped the ante for this event to ensure all will be entertained, with the schedule including a cabaret show, fashion show, comedy and live music to boot. If you or your guests are new to texas hold’em poker, never fear! There will be a ‘learn to play’ area, giving guests the chance to sharpen their skills pre-game. In a new addition to the series, non-playing guests will also be able to attend, enjoying the wonderful entertainment on offer while supporting the players.
