The 2016 Sydney Championships got underway to an exciting start on Tuesday July 26 with the $330 Opening Event NLH. This event is historically well supported with a big field and this year a guaranteed prize pool of $250,000 was on offer. Four day 1 flights were scheduled and after a long Day 2 yesterday, a winner will finally be crowned today.
Also on the schedule today is the PMA 6-handed event. We’ll be on hand live in the Star Poker room to cover the event and will also be posting the action from the final table of the Opening Event.
This year Star Poker has introduced a revamped website and reporting facility. PMA are proud to be providing reporting services where event updates will be blogged to the Star Poker website and linked from pokermedia.com.au.
PMA will also be reporting the action from many of the other Sydney Championship event final tables throughout the week, as well as full coverage of the Main Event that starts on Friday August 5.
