Australian Poker League, 888 Poker League and Pub Poker to host $5 Double Up Week, raising funds for Save Our Sons, from August 25th to 31st.
The Australian Poker League, 888 Poker League and Pub Poker are again proud to be supporting community partner, Save Our Sons (SOS). Save Our Sons is a fantastic organisation working tirelessly to find a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), a degenerative disease effecting mostly young males.
Currently DMD has a 100% mortality rate, however, Save Our Sons, with the support of the community, are raising funds to go toward a clinical trial to find a cure for DMD.
Last year through the generous support of 888Poker League, Australian Poker League and Pub Poker players $90,000 was raised for SOS, going a long way to funding the required trials.
This year, the Save Our Sons $5 Double Up Week is running between 25th and 31st August and is expected to raise tens of thousands of dollars for this wonderful cause.
As a thank you, for every game that a player doubles up at during $5 Double Up Week the player will be allocated a code which is an entry in a draw to win one of three $1,000 Star Showdown Packages.
This wonderful package gives the winners a $600 ticket into The Star Showdown and $400 spending money. The Star Showdown runs from October 8th until October 12th at The Star in Sydney and has a minimum $50K first prize!
Players simply enter their allocated codes into the Save Our Sons promo page on the 888 Poker League or Australian Poker League website before 5pm on the 1st September to be in the draw to win.
