It’s just 38 days until the cards are in the air for the opening event of the inaugural World Series of Poker Asia-Pacific with more details recently released relating to the complete schedule.
PMA released the schedule of bracelet events several weeks ago with five bracelet tournaments announced plus a High Rollers event and a Caesars Cup Invitational event pitting notable Asia-Pacific players (lobbying is well underway!) against a team from The Americas and Europe.
PMA is hoping to be ringside to follow the scores of local players who’ll chase their bracelet dreams in the opening event – the $1100 No Limit Hold’em Accumulator. Players will have the opportunity to play any or all of three separate starting flights.
All chips accumulated each day, will then be bagged, tagged and returned to the player on day two of the event, where they will be combined with any other chips the player has accumulated during the other opening flights.
The other bracelet events are a $1650 Pot Limit Omaha tournament, $2200 Mixed Event, $5000 Six-Handed No-Limit Hold’em event, and $10,000 Main Event.
Due to the expected demand and presence of many of Macau’s high-stakes players, an AUD $50,000 No Limit Hold’em High Rollers event with rebuys is also on the schedule. In response to the many requests we’ve received, here is the updated WSOP APAC schedule.
