The national poker spotlight has turned to South Australia where the latest running of the Adelaide Casino Poker Championship is underway with the first three events run and won.
The series kicked-off with the $235 No Limit Hold’em Teams Event, which attracted 45 teams ensuring the Poker Zone at Adelaide Casino was packed almost to capacity. Daryl Alderson and Enzo Demizio took home the first prize of $3420.
The second event was a $50 Pot Limit Omaha tournament with $50 rebuys and a $100 ‘super’ add-on. The field of 21 built a nice pool of $5260, the majority of which ended in the pocket of Joe Sandaev.
Another big field turned out for the $235 No Limit Hold’em event, with Naj Moubayed (pictured) prevailing over the field of 64 after a long night to earn $4475. Moubayed also finished runner-up in the teams event with Anthony Kamleh.
