ACOP: Chu, Powell near lead as Warm-up Event heads into day 2

A prizepool of an even AUD $1 million is up for grabs in the HKD $25,000 buy-in ACOP Warm-up Event at the Grand Waldo in Macau. Yesterday’s day 1B field brought the total field to 358 players.

It was another solid day for the Aussies with Melbourne’s Hai Bo Chu (141,100) trailling only chip leader Johan Wengelin (149,400) heading into day two. Macau-based Aussie Julian Powell lies fifth on 130,700.

Other Aussies who’ll be back for a shot at the AUD $220,000 first prize are Jeffrey Rossiter (95,800), David Allan (80,900), Kristian Lunardi (58,600), Didier Guerin (56,900), Tino Lechich (56,600), Sam Constantinou (56,100), David Zhao (42,700), Andrew Scott (42,700), Alvin Cheam (40,000) and Bobby Zhang (26,800).
