The third edition of the Shane Warne Super Stack event will be held at Crown Melbourne later this week (November 2-4) with hundreds of players hoping to join Steve Baker and Monica Huynh on the honour roll as winners of this unique event.
This $300 buy-in event, sponsored by ShaneWarne.com, features two day one flights (1B is a repechage flight, meaning players eliminated on day 1A can re-enter), a start stack of 25,000 and 30-minute levels.
“I’m looking forward to the playing in the third ShaneWarne.com Super Stack. The turnout for the past two events was great and the low buy-in, deep stack format makes it a great value tournament to play,” Warne said.
This Super Stack event is part of an international schedule of similar tournaments dating back to 2007. Founded by Circuit Gaming (which was later acquired by 888 Holdings), the first events were played throughout venues in London and quickly proved highly popular.
The Super Stack schedule now spans five countries across three continents with 23 events in seven different cities and looks set for further growth in 2013.
Already more than 70 players have qualified for the Shane Warne Super Stack via 888poker, while Warney is also a confirmed starter for the opening flight on Friday (November 2).
