Highlights from day 4 of the 2012 WSOP Europe (September 24)
The story of day two in the €1100 No Limit Hold’em event at the 2012 WSOP Europe was the run of Antonio Esfandiari (pictured left, with thanks to wsop.com).
The winner of the richest tournament in poker history – the Big One for One Drop – is second in chips with 15 players remaining. Just 12 players will be paid.
Esfandiari lies just a handful of chips behind leader Antonin Teisseire heading into the final day and is ideally poised to pick up the first prize of €126,207 and WSOP gold bracelet to continue his memorable year. Day two chip leader Marvin Rettenmaier bowed out in 47th.
