Jonathan Karamalikis is currently lying 16th in chips with 61 players remaining in the EPT Barcelona Main Event as he pursues a first prize of €1,007,550.
Appropriately, Adelaide Casino chose today to announce that for the second year in a row, the Jonathan Karamalikis Cup, played as a six-handed No Limit Hold’em tournament, will again be scheduled at the Poker Zone during the Adelaide Poker Championship in November.
In 2011, the inaugural year of the JK CUP attracted an elite field of 25 players while offering a prizepool of $62,500. This year’s event will be held on November 14 with a buy-in of $2200, a starting stack of 20,000 and levels of 30 minutes.
Satellites for this and other Adelaide Champs events, including the $1500 Main Event, will be held at the Poker Zone in the coming weeks and months.
