STATE CHAMPS: PMA goes live as Victoria’s elite take centre stage

The 888PL/APL State Championship spotlight shifts to Victoria later this week with three days of action at one of the best known pub poker venues in the country – the Dingley International.

The PMA live reporting team will be on hand to cover the action from 10.30am on Sunday (April 29) as players from across Victoria vie for a share of the $25,000 guaranteed prizepool, including eight MAIN EVENT seats.

Western Australia’s pub poker players will also be out in force for their version of the State Championships this weekend, which will be played at Tompkins Park, Canning Hwy & Dunkley Avenue in Alfred Cove on Sunday. Two MAIN EVENT seats have been included in the $5000 guaranteed prizepool for WA players.

Only in recent days, the Full House Group confirmed that the next MAIN EVENT will be played at Crown Melbourne on September 5-9. Once again there will be a guaranteed prize pool of at least $100,000 for first place, and the field will be capped at 600 runners.
