At last October’s Adelaide Casino Poker Championships, Michael Sellars won the $450-buy-in Vesko Zmukic Triple Chance No Limit Hold’em title.
Aside from pocketing $7700 for the win, Sellars earned the privilege of naming rights for the same event as part of the current Poker Zone Cup.
The event drew a field of 71 players – entrants were given three stacks of 4000, which could be introduced at any point within the first three levels.
After a highly entertaining final table, Long Tran claimed the title, the first prize of $8900 and naming rights when this event is next played on a major tournament schedule at Adelaide Casino. The $1100 Poker Zone Cup Main Event kicked-off today (Wednesday), with a second flight tomorrow (Thursday).
