CROWN: JHDSS Main Event kicks-off today

The first week of the latest Joe Hachem Deep Stack Series is complete, with seven champions crowned and hundreds of players journeying to the Crown poker room to test their skills in their Championship-style series.

Among the highlights of the series so far was the performance of 888Poker League regular Pat Dillon in taking out the $50 buy-in Opening Event and claiming the lion’s share of the massive $88,000 prizepool. There have also been wins for 2010 ANZPT Melbourne champion Martin Kozlov and Cameron Bisset (who also won a terminator title in the March 2011 JHDSS).

The series steps up a notch today with the $300 Six-handed No Limit Hold’em event, followed tonight by the first of four day one flights in the $550 buy-in JHDSS Main Event. Watch for live coverage on day two of the JHDSS Main Event here on PokerMedia Australia, commencing at noon on Sunday.
