The countdown to the first Star Poker Summer Series is on in earnest, with a variety of satellites now underway in the Star Poker Room.
On the next three Saturdays (November 12, 19 and 26), one and two-table Sit ‘n’ Goes will be held between noon and 8pm. These satellites will be played on demand for fields of 10 or 20 players, with one Summer Series Main Event seat awarded for each $5000 in the prizepool. Both $500 and $1000 buy-in SNGs will be offered, with a start bank of 5000 and 20-minute levels.
Then on the next three Monday evenings (November 14, 21 and 28) at 6.15pm, there will be $220 buy-in Star Summer Series Main Event satellites, where players will also start with 5000 in chips and play scheduled for 20-minute blinds. A Summer Series Main Event seat will be awarded for each $5000 in the prizepool.
For those with a little more to invest towards winning a Main Event seat, there will be $300 buy-in Star Summer Series satellites on November 13 and 20 at 12.30pm, and on November 17 and 22 from 6.15pm. The start bank in 5000, levels are 20 minutes and one seat will be awarded for each $5000 in the prizepool.
Then on November 16 and 23, $330 buy-in Star Summer Series Main Event satellites will kick-off at 6.15pm. The start bank for these tournaments is 6000, and blinds will increase every 30 minutes.
