ADELAIDE CHAMPS: Variety galore as more preliminary titles decided

The Adelaide Casino Poker Championship continued over the past two days with as diverse a line-up of events as you’ll find on a major tournament schedule.

On Sunday, the Poker Zone hosted the first ever Trilogy event, comprising Pot Limit Crazy Pineapple, Pot Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha. A field of 33 runners thoroughly enjoyed this Pot Limit fest with Josh Kelty taking the title and the first prize of $1580 ahead of Bill Psellos.

Event 4: $150 Trilogy (Pot Limit Crazy Pineapple, Pot Limit Hold’em & Pot Limit Omaha)

• Monday kicked off with the $50 Poker Industry Pot Limit Omaha event with $30 rebuys and single add-ons, and $50 double add-ons. Damien Viney emerged victorious winning $840 while Gabe Linn ($505) and Damien Viney ($340) filled the minor placings.
The money was again flowing free later in the day in the $50 No Limit Hold’em event with $30 rebuys and single add-ons, and $50 double add-ons. The pool was shared among the top five finishers with Tom Grieve needing just one hand of heads-up play to claim victory over Vince Santamaria.
