The East Coast Poker Championship (ECPC) is Newcastle’s largest guaranteed poker tournament and is held every three months at Mayfield Diggers. The next ECPC event will be held on November 6 from noon and will be reported live here on www.pokermedia.com.au.
The event is hosted by Southern Cross Poker, which is the industry leaders in the thriving poker community of Newcastle. Boasting more than 40 weekly poker events from Wyong to Wauchope, Southern Cross Poker is achieving fantastic results and has also amassed a somewhat cult following among its player base.
“The East Coast Poker Championship is the culmination of all the hard work our players put in on the felt over each 13-week period,” Southern Cross Poker General Manager Brad Locking said. “This is a fantastic event which is enjoyed by the many players that travel from far and wide to enjoy it, not to mention the players on the more local circuit.”
“The ECPC has gone from strength to strength in recent times with our most recent prize pools approaching $30,000. We have also recently secured sponsorship for this event via PokerShop.com.au and are now thrilled to have PokerMedia Australia covering this event.”
The East Coast Poker Championship is a single-day event, which boasts a 25,000-chip start stack and 25-minute blinds with antes. General admission to this event is also available for $200. The full blind structure and tournament conditions can be found at www.southerncrosspoker.com.au.
