CROWN: Aristidou adds another chapter to a decorated record

Over the past four years, Peter Aristidou (pictured left) has amassed an astounding record of victories and cashes, mainly on his home turf at Crown.

In major championship series alone, Aristidou has captured at least 10 titles to go with his many victories in regular weekly events at Crown so it was hardly surprising to see his name again prominent in the ANZPT Melbourne preliminary events.

Aristidou emerged victorious in the $250 Seven-Game Mixed ahead of Fabian Craib then backed up with sixth in the $340 Pot Limit Omaha in which Khac-Trung Tran pocketed almost $6000 as the champion.

Several other events are scheduled leading up to Saturday’s opening day of the $2200 ANZPT Melbourne Main Event. And don’t forget the EH Whitten Charity Poker Tournament on Sunday, kicking off at 4.10pm.
