CROWN: Duckworth shows the write stuff as McLean bags Opening Event title

There were some familiar names and faces at the final table where Luke McLean collected his fourth title as part of a major Crown tournament series.

McLean scored the win after doing a deal with good mate and well-known poker reporter Tim Duckworth, who placed second. Former Crown Poker Player of the Year Andrew Demetriou placed fourth.

• In other events, Stephen Hansen accounted for Crown veteran Ken Eastwood heads-up to claim the $125 NLHE Deep Stack title while Lance Patison and Gareth Irvine combined to win the $200 buy-on Teams Event.
